Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Queeble collects, uses, shares, protects, retains, and deletes information when you use our omnichannel commerce and customer communication services.

Scope and Roles

  • Queeble provides an omnichannel customer communication platform for merchants operating across WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, web chat, Shopify, and connected commerce systems.
  • For customer data that merchants upload, sync, or route through Queeble, the merchant is generally the controller or business and Queeble acts as a processor or service provider on the merchant's instructions.
  • For account, billing, security, and support data about people who contract with Queeble directly, Queeble acts as the controller.
  • We process personal data only for defined business purposes such as customer support, store operations, analytics, personalization, fraud prevention, and service delivery.

Information We Collect

  • Account and business information, including names, email addresses, phone numbers, company details, roles, and authentication credentials.
  • Commerce and integration data, including customer records, order details, shipping or billing addresses, support conversations, catalog references, and channel connection metadata when merchants enable those features.
  • Usage and diagnostic data, including log records, device and browser metadata, IP address, timestamps, security events, and product interaction telemetry.
  • Billing and subscription data needed to manage plans, invoices, payment processors, and abuse prevention. Payment card handling is performed by our payment providers rather than stored directly by Queeble except where operationally required for payment records.

How We Use Information

  • Provide messaging, automation, CRM, analytics, onboarding, billing, and support services.
  • Operate merchant workflows such as customer service, order management, shopping assistance, personalization, and conversion tracking.
  • Protect the service through authentication, audit logging, anomaly detection, abuse prevention, incident investigation, and tenant isolation controls.
  • Improve reliability and product quality using aggregated or de-identified usage insights where appropriate.
  • We do not sell personal information or use merchant customer data for unrelated advertising purposes.

Legal Bases, Consent, and Merchant Instructions

  • Where Queeble acts as a controller, we rely on contract performance, legitimate interests, legal obligations, or consent depending on the processing activity.
  • Where Queeble acts as a processor or service provider for merchant customer data, we process that data only on merchant instructions and for the purposes described in our agreements and product documentation.
  • Merchants are responsible for obtaining any customer notices, opt-ins, or channel-specific consents required under applicable law and platform rules. Queeble provides tooling to help merchants respect opt-outs and customer requests.
  • Queeble does not make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about individuals without a path for merchant review and override.

Sharing and Subprocessors

  • We share data with trusted subprocessors and service providers only where needed for hosting, communications, analytics, payments, support, security, and infrastructure operations.
  • We may disclose data when required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect rights, safety, and platform integrity.
  • If Queeble is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, affected data will remain subject to applicable confidentiality and privacy commitments.
  • We never sell personal information to third parties.

Security and Access Controls

  • We use encryption in transit, encrypted credential storage for sensitive integration secrets, role-based access controls, authentication safeguards, and security logging designed to limit and monitor access to personal data.
  • Access to production data is restricted to authorized personnel with a business need and is subject to internal review and logging.
  • We maintain technical and organizational safeguards intended to prevent unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of customer and merchant data.
  • Additional details are available on our Security page and in our Data Processing Addendum.

Retention and Deletion

  • We retain data for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain security records.
  • Operational data such as account information, subscription records, and audit logs may be retained for legitimate business and compliance purposes.
  • Account deletion requests are processed through our product and support workflows. After deletion or termination, data is removed or anonymized according to our retention schedule, subject to legal, tax, fraud-prevention, backup, and security obligations.
  • Merchants may request deletion or export assistance by contacting support or privacy contacts listed below.

International Transfers and Rights

  • If data is transferred across borders, we use appropriate safeguards available under applicable law, which may include contractual commitments and processor terms.
  • Depending on your location and role, you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, or restrict processing of personal data, or to object to certain processing activities.
  • Where Queeble processes data only on behalf of a merchant, we may direct the request to that merchant or assist them in responding.
  • You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
